New Season With Cambodia Care Centre

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Much has happened since then with Pastor John’s home-going on the 14th June. The past few months have been challenging as we dealt with his affairs and the smooth transition of CCC. Yet, we witnessed God’s miraculous hand and grace upon our family and ministry. There are countless testimonies of God’s goodness and His amazing orchestration of every moment and event. Truly, as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made all things beautiful in His time.”

Though we will all miss him dearly, I find comfort in knowing that he is not just in a better place but in the PERFECT place. A friend recently shared with me a tradition in China, where people would refer the passing of those beyond the age of 80 as 喜葬 (joyous funeral). How much more joyous it is for us who are in Christ? I recall how remarkably calm dad was when he faced the news of his advanced stage cancer in April. He expressed gratitude, acknowledging that despite battling lung cancer before, God had graciously granted him an additional 25 years of life to serve Him.

Pastor John has completed his race victoriously. He was our spiritual father; we celebrate his life, the profound impact he had on our faith and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. May we find strength and inspiration as we continue to run our race with patience and fervency.

Pastor John was deeply committed to “Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed.” Proverbs 31:8. His Vision was to provide Christian education to as many as we possibly could, to give them a future, a hope and a voice of their own.

We are passionate about upholding this vision and mission. We firmly believe that the seeds we sow into the lives of these children will yield abundant fruits because they are sown on fertile ground. We are raising ‘Generations of Champions’.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all our partners for your unwavering love, support and active participation. Please continue to pray with us in this new season. We are filled with excitement and anticipation, eager to see what God has in store for the ministry – beyond what we can think or imagine.

Let me also extend an invitation and encouragement. If you have not yet visited the ministry, I urge you to find time to see firsthand the awesome work you are partnering with.

May our good Lord bless and keep you and your loved ones.

Shalom and Blessings!
